Roller Skate Cake!

This was for a client who's daughter was turning 11 and celebrated by having her birthday party at a roller skating rink. I made a vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream filling and fondant icing to resemble a roller skate. The wheels are made of sugar paste. I also made two dozen "roller skate" vanilla cupcakes with whipped vanilla butter cream frosting and silver sprinkles to go with the roller skate cake.
